The KF is the market leader in the use of information and communication technology in education. All our programmes are supported by electronic teaching and communications on the Internet with high quality printed course material available to our students.


Peer Support
There is also a peer support network operated by KF students from different areas of business to help new students to adjust to the pressures of the CIM courses.

Consultant

Our consulting team lead by MD Failan Saleem, Who specializes as an out-sourced consultant to the Phone Company (Pvt) Ltd; Dialog GSM largest business partner contributing over 60,000 connections per year, and is principal consultant in helping them re-structure, re-strategize and re-focus the company's entire operations and networks.

Failan is also General Manager for Samsung Mobile in Sri Lanka and pioneered the go to Market Strategy for the Sri Lankan market. The Phone Centre is the sole agent for Samsung Mobile phones in the country.

Failan was also involved with Ford Rhodes in developing business plans for the Maldives Island bid project developing five marketing plans as part of the bid. The proposal involved conducting extensive research with regard to tourism statistics both globally and locally. Key questions explored took into consideration the number of arrivals, number of nights spent, average room rates, govt support, infrastructure facilitation, exchange rate fluctuations, geo political culture, service offering and service quality including databases, opportunity for eco and health tourism and branding and promotions.

Specific experience in research for the mobile phone industry included researching the available segments, penetration and channel structure, grey and black market dynamics, govt attitudes to competition, pricing strategy, volume forecast, brand preference, mix between pre paid and post paid growth, growth in roaming as well as opportunity for value added service such as sms and mms growth and the impact of strategic alliances on building completive advantage. Call centre dynamics as well ass key account management was also explored. The study also involved a benchmarking study comparing similar country business models.
